2026-10-14 On-Premises V2.0

I. On-Premises Feature Improvements

1. New Device Support

DJI FlightHub 2 now supports DJI Dock 4.

⚠️ Usage Restrictions

DJI Dock 4 currently supports only HTTPS. You must enable the HTTPS option in the Admin Console. For details, refer to the Switching Between HTTP and HTTPS chapter in this deployment manual.

2. Cluster Architecture Support

Starting with V2.0, a Cluster architecture provides High Availability, Load Balancing, and Disaster Recovery to support larger-scale, more reliable, and more secure flight operations. Visual operations, fewer deployment environment dependencies, and higher deployment success rates also reduce deployment and maintenance costs.

DJI FlightHub 2 deployment starts with a single Node, and additional Nodes can be added as business needs grow. When the number of Nodes is ≥ 3, the Cluster provides the following features:

  • High Availability: Automatic failover when a Node fails keeps core services running.
  • Load Balancing: Tasks are allocated according to Node resources to prevent overloading a single machine.
  • Disaster Recovery: Multiple backup copies reduce data loss and downtime.

Key New Admin Console Capabilities

  • Node Expansion: Add Nodes online without service interruption, with progress monitoring, retry on failure, rollback at reversible stages, and process log export.
    • Requirement: The maximum number of devices allowed by the License must be greater than 20.
  • Cluster Operations and Maintenance: Centrally view Cluster health, topology, and alerts in Cluster Overview, along with Node hardware information and CPU, memory, storage, and network load.
  • Value-Added Services: Deploy and manage services such as 4G and Terra with one click, view deployment progress and health, and export process logs.
  • License Management: Designate a Node within the Cluster or a remote Node for centralized License management.
    • Restriction: Each Cluster supports only one Authorization Node, and all Licenses must be installed on that Node.

Key Compatibility Changes from Earlier Versions

  • License Installation: DJI FlightHub 2, 4G, and Terra Licenses must be installed on the same Authorization Node. If your Licenses are installed on separate machines, contact after-sales support to migrate them before upgrading to V2.0.
  • Upgrade Restrictions: Earlier versions cannot be upgraded to V2.0 through the visual interface, legacy command-line tools, or other previous methods. Follow this deployment manual carefully.
  • Data Backup: Data backup commands and procedures have changed. Follow this deployment manual carefully.
  • Routine Operations and Maintenance: All maintenance commands have been replaced, DJI FlightHub 2 service log export has changed, and the port list has been updated. Read this deployment manual thoroughly.
  • Feature Adjustments: Remote operations and maintenance, login page customization, and alert rule modification are temporarily unavailable.

3. Live Streaming Engine Refactoring

  • Improved GB-28181 and RTMP protocol compatibility makes integration with general-purpose video surveillance platforms such as Hikvision easier.
  • Dynamic scaling eliminates software throughput bottlenecks; concurrency capacity depends on network interface bandwidth.

4. Operations and Maintenance Experience Improvements

  • Smaller Installation Package: The package size has been reduced to within 50GB.
  • Improved License Tolerance: The original License remains valid when replacing the hard drive or network interface card, or reinstalling the operating system on the same machine. No License reissue is required, reducing service interruptions caused by routine maintenance.
  • Improved Expiration Reminders: Upgrade License expiration and trial License expiration are distinguished, with more accurate explanations of their impact. Device limit alerts are less frequent, reducing repeated reminders.

5. MQTT Bridge API Authentication Support

Local MQTT operations, including registration and modification, require x-user-token for API authentication to prevent unauthorized users from changing MQTT configurations. You can enable authentication on the "DJI FlightHub 2 - Organization Settings - FlightHub Sync - MQTT" page.

6. O4 Ground Station Device Count Logic Improvements
