Apps are installed as standalone applications on the remote controller and run alongside DJI Pilot 2. Directly leverage Pilot's full flight control capabilities, maps, AR, and waypoint missions — focus on your own business scenarios without building flight control from scratch.
Flight control, camera, maps, AR, waypoint missions — Pilot has it all built in. Plugins let you focus solely on your industry business logic, eliminating redundant development and dramatically lowering the barrier and cost to build.
Through the MSDK plugin interface, plugins can retrieve real-time aircraft status, control flight actions, pull live video streams, and manage waypoint missions. All capabilities are exposed via stable APIs with comprehensive documentation and sample code.
Plugins can inject custom interactive floating windows into the Pilot interface, and silently read operational data or drive automated tasks in the background — supporting both visualization and automation use cases.

The DJI App Hub is the publishing and distribution platform for Pilot plugins. As a developer, you can submit your completed plugin for review and list it on the App Hub, making it discoverable, downloadable, and usable by DJI Pilot users worldwide. End users can access the App Hub directly within Pilot on their remote controller and install plugins with a single tap.
