What is DJI TerraAPI
DJI TerraAPI is a set of API solutions that utilize cloud computing to achieve visible light reconstruction, LiDAR reconstruction, and other model reconstructions. It supports enterprise developers in quickly integrating DJI Terra's modeling capabilities into their own systems, forming complete application solutions for fields such as surveying, electric power, emergency response, construction, transportation, and agriculture.

Visible Light Reconstruction
Visible light reconstruction includes both 2D and 3D reconstruction. 2D reconstruction is the process of using images captured by an aircraft to generate a Digital Surface Model (DSM) and Digital Orthophoto Map (DOM) of the photographed area based on photogrammetry principles. 3D reconstruction involves using images captured by aircraft to create a 3D model of the photographed object, based on principles of photogrammetry, multi-view geometry in computer vision, and computer graphics.
LiDAR Point Cloud Processing
Supports processing of Zenmuse L1 and Zenmuse L2 data, converting L1 and L2 LiDAR raw files into various formats of 3D point cloud data (PNTS/LAS/PLY/PCD/S3MB formats). It supports point cloud classification and generating Digital Elevation Models (DEM). Users can import these results into analysis software for applications, such as surveying and electric power industry.
